Food festival dedicated to “SARMA”, Serbian beloved dish – Meat and rice rolled in cabbage leaf

The Sarmijada (Meat and rice rolled in cabbage) event is traditionally held in Bačka Topola in Vašarište. More than 130 teams from Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Slovakia, and Serbia measure their skills in cooking sarma. A competition in cooking sarma awaits you, as well as various other competitions, a fair of handicrafts and gastronomic products, a musical program, as well as various programs for children. This year concert will host Bane Rosić who has been creating music and programs for children for over twenty years. The young ones will hear well-known children’s hits—such as “Dinosaurus,” “Bubamarca,” and “Bljak”.
